Its already May! Wild. I’m looking forward to enjoying the last of the warm weather before winter hits with some outdoor adventure this month.
I've decided to make Saturday a compulsory ‘family day’ for my kids, they are edging into teenage hood and would rather spend the day online with friends. My children’s relationship with one another is the greatest gift I can give them and so forcing them to spend time together one full day a week will hopefully foster these relationships further - which I know will serve them well for their entire lives. Last weekend we ventured out to the Redwood forest and walked along the river followed by tea and scones at a cute local tea house. I’m going to have to keep coming up with these ideas each week so feel free to send any my way!
With the change of season I’m feeling like investing in warm layers and also dressing up outfits with beautiful jewellery. I have my eye on a vintage gold necklace from RREN Jewellery which I’ll be layering over a turtleneck.
I’m on the hunt for my next good book to lose myself in. Or a show! I recently watched Adolescence in one go and sobbed uncontrollably throughout. It was brilliant but the actor looks way too much like my own son and it was just so triggering and devastating.
I’m looking forward to using our fireplace heaps over the coming weeks and months and can not wait to place the new Bisset Fire Screen (launching May 15th!) in front of our open fire at home! It will just lift the entire room - it's such a beautiful piece to look at. It's a piece of art!

Winter is here (kind of?)!! We’ve been so lucky with the weather in Melbourne and it has stayed warm FAAAR longer than normal.. So these cooler days are quite the shock! I have been obsessed with the Acne Padded Bomber for a while, maybe this can be an incentive to get through the next few months!!
I’m very lucky to be escaping up to Noosa in a couple of weeks, so it will be lovely to get that last bit of sunshine & beach time before diving back into the depths of the short winter days.
I’m crushing hard on our Tautou Bench. We’ve been working on a few exciting shoots… (product launches incoming!) and it is just the perfect styling piece. It is so versatile, in a hallway, under artwork, at the end of the bed - it’s such a staple.

I am in a real decluttering mood at the moment. I've been carving out some time over the last few weekends to get stuck into different areas of my home. I Marie Kondo'd my wardrobe over the weekend and realised there was a lot in there that did not spark joy! It makes sense why my wardrobe felt so noisy and overwhelming. I feel like I am much more intentional with my purchases these days so it felt really good to cleanse the space and say goodbye to the impulse purchases and pieces that didn't really feel like 'me'.
I have a slouchy pair of jeans in dark blue that I live in. They’re the perfect balance of comfort and style. I’ve had my eye on a faded black version too - the
Coast Wide-Leg Jeans from COS - so it doesn’t always look like I’m wearing the same outfit on repeat! Honestly, I don’t think I could ever go back to skinny jeans!
When it comes to makeup, I’m all about a pared-back, natural look. I usually stick to a clear lip balm, but I’ve been really into Merit lately and have my eye on
The Lip Duo. It’s just the right mix of low-effort and polished.
My current favourite from RD is the
Allegra Side Table Nesting Pair. Technically designed for outdoor use, but I love how beautifully it works indoors too - styled in a living room corner or even as a bedside table in a cosy bedroom.
