What we're loving in April

Winter is coming! Team RD marks the end of daylight savings with an exciting trip, a autumn reset & a special anniversary ...

I can't find my kindle charger at the moment - it's out of battery and so I am having reading withdrawals! I was midway through a couple of good books and have been wanting to finish them! In the meantime (while I wait for the charger to either show up or I find the time to go into Officeworks to get a new one), I have been watching lots of shows! I was so excited for White Lotus to be amazing - and still look forward to the episode each week in the hope that the story line will hurry up and get more exciting but I have so far been disappointed. Its slow and nothing is happening (apart from last week, umm..wth!).

April is another month of exciting travel for me - I'm heading to New York for work later this month and will have an entire weekend to myself in NYC. I'm currently going through lots of recommendations and pinning to my Google Maps all the places I want to visit. New York changes so much over time and there are so many new eateries that I am dying to try. I will absolutely share it with you all on socials!

We did a quiet drop of the Arnaud Backless Stool last month and I cannot be more proud of this growing Arnaud family. It's just such a beautifully crafted piece - I can't stop iterating on it!

April is a very special month for me as it is my wedding anniversary month! It's my second anniversary this weekend, so my husband and I have an exiting weekend full of dinners (including at Cutler where we had our wedding reception), long country drives and a spa afternoon!

I have been slowly making my way through all of Lucinda Berry's books. My latest read is The Perfect Child which had me completely hooked (I finished it in one weekend!), I never knew what was going to happen next!

I am totally obsessed with our new Vernier Tabac collection. I think this finish looks so beautiful in so many different interiors and is ... dare I say ... slightly more sophisticated than the OG Natural!? I myself have our Vernier Round Side Tables and may need to upgrade to the Tabac!

The past few months have been a whirlwind, so I’m really looking forward to the Easter long weekend - a perfect chance to hit reset! I plan to refresh my space, reorganise my wardrobe, and give my kitchen a deep clean - all those little things to help me feel on top of life again.

Our Europe trip is also creeping closer, so it’s time to lock in more details. My partner and I visited Turkey 9 years ago and completely fell in love, so it’s also definitely high on our list this time around. I can’t wait to experience it all over again! I have my eye on the St Agni - Adjustable Crescent Bag in Bordeaux to come along and travel me!

I'm currently lusting over the Lavigne Side Table. It's the perfect side table for so many spaces (bedroom, living area, entry - the list goes on!). It's such a classic shape that I can see myself loving for years to come.
